Conflow Upgrades Electronic Water Flow Meter
The UK’s leading intrinsically safe electronic water flow meter now incorporates a totalising function which will be available, as standard, on all new units supplied from 1st January 2009.
In addition to the regular features of Rate of Flow, Pressure and Temperature, the meter will now display the total amount of water which has passed through it over a measured time period.
This totalising facility will be standard on all Code 5050A and Code 4912E units.

This addition extends the unit’s range of applications in Conflow’s mineral extraction markets; typically---
- Displays total water consumption on Coal Face Machinery allowing diagnostic control of usage (eg indication of blocked dust suppression sprays)
- Allows leakage to be measured on powered support systems by taking total flow
readings from flow meters at pump delivery and tank return lines
- Allows control of amount of water added to coal throughout the mine
The Conflow Code 4912E is the only unit of its type available which will monitor high flow and high pressure in pipelines up to 6” diameter.
